White sanitaryware

I know there is available a black applique kit to cover up the awful white sanitaryware , but has anybody thought of, or tried painting it another colour, in my case I would prefer black gloss.

You say there's a black appliqué kit to cover up the awful white sanitary ware but do you know where I can purchase this appliqué in the UK? I know it's available in the States but the kit would only be suitable for left hand drive Prius cars. Considering Japan drives on the left hand side of the road as we do, you think there would be a kit for right hand drive cars. Any idea how much this appliqué would cost & fitting costs?
