T25 Rear strut and spring replacement

Ok so i need to replace my rear struts and going to put on new springs also.

The only thing is when reading the workshop manual, i see there are some trick when reassembling the spring and strut to the upper mount. You should mount the top mount 23.7 degrees from the center of the bottom hole. How is this done? What kind of tool could you use to get this exact measuring of the degrees?

Or could you just leave in the top mount in the chassis and compress spring, install damper and compressed spring, temporary install the lower and top strut bolt\nut and then decompress spring?

The front suspension looks ok, and not measuring degrees and such :D

I appreciate that some time has passed since you asked this question, but do you happen to recall how you set the angle?

Thanks

Chris
