Evening all...has anyone had their car waxoiled? Just wondered if it's something that can be done at home or if not how much can I expect to pay?

I've just had my Corolla done. The cost was £200 - a one man business who mainly does welding, fabrication and restoration. Whilst it is possible to do it yourself you really need very good accessibility to remove any surface rust from all the key areas and the appropriate long reach tools to clean and spray. I also had the inside of the sills injected which needed a long flexible probe to acess the length of the sills via the relatively small "grommet holes". There are some specialist Waxoylers down this way, not sure about where you are though.

You would more than likely need to get rid of the rust under the car (unless you park it inside)you can get metal restorer like krust off or similar then waxol it.

The metal restorer turns rust back to a good clean metal surface.
