For a 2014 onwards, petrol 1.33 Yaris, what revs does it do at 70mph in top gear?

Any thoughts on how well the car performs on a motorway (engine and road noise)?

2800 at 70 and 3200 at 80 so 75 at 3000 is the sweet spot

Around 2200  rpm at 70 mph with my  multidrive CVT 1.33 petrol.

Don't worry, I bet it won't keep that up a hill :tongue:

(My D4D on the other hand... :naughty:)

Depends on the hill, It will if he can manage 70 mph in top gear! :smile:

Exactly. I really have to rev it's nuts off to accomplish some hills! At 2200 rpm there is absolutely minimal torque available and even a slight m'way incline requires a big change in the pulleys.

My previous Yais was a D4D and I do miss that torque - shame it was a MMT. :laugh:

"show off :biggrin::laugh:
