Receiving Emails

Hi,

I've had a 65 plated Auris TSS Hybrid Excel since new, successfully receiving emails via my Sony mobile for the last two years.

Just changed the phone to a nokia6 and don't appear to be able to receive emails.

On the setup, the "Notification when receiving emails" is grayed out.

Anybody know the process needed to receive emaisl, ie how i might need to set it up?

I can't remember 2 years back

Thanks

Won't this be covered in your Touch 2 manual?

It depends on the handset. Does the phone definitely support this?

Hmm...

Do you still have the old handset? The fastest way is to set up the old and check it works (it will also confirm you're doing the steps correctly), then try the same thing with the new handset, and see what happens.

My old handset didn't work with SMS, but when I linked my iPhone, it did, and I didn't do anything special (IIRC), so as far as I can tell, it will "just work" if it is supported.

I did have to set a privacy option on the phone to "Show Notifications". This was specifically for the bluetooth connection to the car on the handset. Once I did this, SMS display when they're received.
