Radio Screen

Hi so i recently bought a 2007 toyota avensis strata 1.6 petrol and the radio seems to have a black screen, i have tried to replace the radio but the same issue has occured with that one 2 would anyone have any idea on how to fix this. The radio works fine other than the screen with the information

Is the screen showing nothing at all or is it just the illumination? If it's just the illumination I suspect the illumination wire is bad.

Sorry about the slow reply i didnt no you responded i tried to upload an image i get an error its a w58830 the screen has an orange background when turned on then a black overlay and you can kind of see the radio station on it
