Just got my 65 Plate Yaris Yesterday, Anyone got a phone mount which is suitable?

The one I have is not a very good fit!

Many Thanks

May be useful to know what phone one has.

as usual it depends how much you want to spend ... what is your budget?

They will cost more fully configured & installed but have you looked at the likes of Brodit or Dashmount?

Be careful - at least one of those mounts contains magnets, which could permantly break the compass in the phone!!!

I have a no-name plastic mount with sucker-cup for my iPad. Cost £8.

Also you need to add a sticky magnetic patch to your phone. so your new shiny phone looks 2nd hand after a few weeks :-( (mine did)

I guess the best place to mount a suction style is the little front window?

Yes - this is what I do. You can mount it easily with the door open, but just be careful when closing the door the first time that it can't get trapped between the door and the dash.

Hi Ronan.

May I suggest you phone this shop, Pulse, they are in Essex, very polite and know what they are talking about. 01702 554433 and excellent at car 'goodies'.

Mike.
