Hi there.

We have a 2009 Toyota Rav4 Sr180 2.2 with 70K miles.

For a while now its been using a slight amount of water and pressurising the expansion tank.

I've read various statements via the internet about similar issues with these engine.

Could anyone enlighten me with the above issue?

Toyota did have an official warranty extension program for this but your car will now be outside the time limit (7 years) & it was time or mileage limited.
