2012 Auris Touch and Go questions

I've recently bought a 2012 Auris Hybrid, with the 59028 Touch and Go system. and I have a couple of quick questions.
Firstly, Should the reverse camera display guidelines? - If so, how can I switch them on/off?
Secondly, I want to update the navigation software. I noticed on the Toolbox, that there are a couple of free apps. Glass of Water and Weather. On my head unit, I can't see where they would be accessed. Does anyone know if this unit is compatible with apps? - (I'm guessing it was one of the early Touch and Go systems).

My 2012 Avensis with Touch & Go Plus (so the highest system) did not have guidelines.

It was however, compatible with those apps although iirc the weather requires a subscription - I didn't use them other than an initial play.
