Engine mananagnet light on!

My engine management light has come up and after having diagnosed it. I was told that it's the front cat of the 2 on the exhaust. I have a 2008 Yaris 1.3 SR. Any one experienced this issue before or know how to go about it? Apparently the front cat has stopped working altogether. Not sure if this is a sensor issue or part. Any help would be appreciated.
