2005 Corolla Rear brake backing plate ? Where to buy

Hi ,

Just before the mot noticed the corolla rear offside wheel  was occasionally locking up, turns out the rear backing plate was in a very poor state and one of the pins had pulled right threw.

I need a replacement because its completely rusted away around handbrake cable also,

Trouble is I am finding it very difficult to source one at a reasonable price , cheapest I could find on eBay was over 150 including delivery , any suggestions , its for the offside rear ?

I suppose I could try a breakers but its always been a hit or a miss for me with them and usually a miss !, with either the wrong part or a mangled part with them being rough taking it off.

To end this topic I finally got one , had to pay 75 pound for it though, for anyone with an old corolla it would be a good idea to try and treat any rust on backing plates before it gets too bad and give them a good paint job then wax oil or undersealer !

The guy I sourced he part from was ( USED JAP PARTS B'HAM) tel 07999993495/07528111115) very good to deal with and a quality used part in good condition.
