Hi all. I have just joined the club, I own an 89 Celica gt4 165.

She currently has a few running issues. Standing still will rev to the limiter but once under load wont rev past 3k

Have found and isolated a couple of splits hoses but that hasn' really done anything. The car is running a 185 turbo and manifold along with 185 air flow meter. Could this be a possible cause. I have checked the spark plugs they are dry but covered in black dry soot. Any advice is welcome
