Squeak within the driver's seat

For some time i have this very nasty squeak in the seat, and i suspect that it's caused by one of those  wire supports.

Only in drivers seat, and only 1 of those supports seems to be causing it. I would say the protective material worn out, and it's now rubbing directly on the place it's hooked up to.

I tried searching online, did not found anyone with the same problem, and same car.  Also i found no way of removing the top seat cover, i guess it's 1 part piece, that's been lowered from the top.

Anyone have some idea how i can get it off, without taking the whole seat apart?

I was also thinking using a syringe with some oil/grease (but that does not really work with tiny needles) and trying to guess and lubricate the area.

The seat is not heated so i should be fine electrical wise.

from the back seat of the car look under the bottom edge of the drivers seat back there should be a

clip to undo maybe a zip or velcro i'm not sure but there will be some join, once this join is released

the cover will be able to be removed by wiggling it up the seat back although it may still be a tight fit.

I've got this with my drivers seat too, although mine is more of a click than a squeak each time I lean back in the seat. I think the cause is probably one of the metal springs either broken or come unhooked at one end and is now rubbing on the seat frame.

I can pinpoint the moment it happened on mine, I was sat in the car parked up waiting for someone, got bored and yawned and stretched back in the seat with some force. At that point something inside the seat back 'twanged' loudly and from then on its had this really irritating noise.

Soon after it happened I spent some time trying to work out how to take the cloth off the seat and came to the conclusion that there is no easy way to get to the springs with the seat in the car. There doesn't appear to be any zip or velcro type fasteners. The fabric seems to have a plastic edge permanently crimped onto it which holds it in place underneath the seat.

It might be possible to get at it better with the seat removed but I came to the conclusion that I would live with the noise for now,  but if it got too annoying I'd probably look for a complete replacement seat from a breakers.

I wish it was that easy, as yossarian247 mentioned, it appears to be crimped. Only way to remove it is maybe pulling it up,  and have it turn inside out as you are pulling.

I would say in my case it sounds like metal on metal friction.

the plastic edge you see will be the plastic clip that needs to be unclipped

Unfortunatelly, the clip is not on the sides, but on the bottom side.  I tried finding the schematics of disassembling the seat, nothing so far.

The clip is actuall from left to right side, but just the bottom part, it does not connect to anything, maybe they just crimped the end of fabric.

You can see here the seats cant really be accessed that easily, that part anyway.
