Hello TOC!!

been a member for a while but not posted much, originally was going to buy a second hand corolla but instead went for the new T Spirit Yaris 1.3. Have to wait another 3/4 weeks for delivery as its in Ice Blue but I have a question,

does my car have tweeters?

and if anyone has had them fitted are they any good?

I haven't been on for a while too....

Your T Spirit wiil come with a 4 speaker radio system, but you won't have tweeters. They aren't available as standard equipment on any Yaris. :(

You can buy a genuine front tweeter set though :hokus-pokus: from your main dealer. I'll get you a price if you're interested.

I've seen a 'genuine Yaris tweeter set' on eBay a few times for about £12ish - not sure how to fit it or if it's any good though.

The tweeters cost £40 incl vat from a dealer. They take about 20 minutes to fit into the 'A' pillar area.

from what ive heard on here they are not that good

i have bought a set of components with the woofer in the door and the tweeters on the dash!and the sound quality is significantley improved!!

well I have comps in my current car ( a micra), orion P6.2's if anyone is interested and they sound the dogs castratories! but I dont want to butcher the yaris with all my stereo, I want it factory standard. The tweeter set on eBay is the one I was looking at, but im worried about warranty etc. with fitting myself.

since I have a thread going, does anyone know if the standard HU has a nice aux in or a CD changer interface as std?
