When I was still living in South Africa, they didn't have a points system... I used to budget speeding fines into my monthly living costs :D B) I averaged 3 fines a month

If you didn't pay the fine, it became an automatic court summons. If you didn't appear in court on the date on the back of the ticket a warrant for your arrest was issued. I have 1 outstanding warant to my name too

This all happened in my youth and now I can't afford to speed and try not to especially if the conditions are unsafe.

I have lost count of parking fines... But I blame London wardens for most of them
