My tubby is restricted and i have had a quote of 150 to derestrict it and have the clocks put in mph

but they don't change the mileage to miles so my car will look as though its got high miles if i ever sell it

so just wondering can i derestrict it but keep it as kph because its already got 300kph trd clocks and then the mileage will still be reading properly

other thing is would i be able to derestrict my car my self is it hard

or does anyone on here do it

Eithe get an RSM and it'll do to for you (about 130) or get a de-limiter (I've just sold one for 25) .. and it's about 4 solder points .. VERY easy ..

the 130 is fr an RSM .. look on www.apexi.com .. it does a whole lot more than de-limit .. and yeah the clock stays in KMPH ..

if you use a de-limiter (25) you'll have a 300MPH speedo ..

I'm not a fitter mate, but I'm happy to help ..

You'll need a few lengths of wire and a soldering iron ..
