Membership Suspensions

I am sorry to announce that we have had to make our first membership suspensions.

John_R and the-voice-of-reason have had their membership suspended for seven days.

This is for their abusive behaviour to other members in the fourms, and for sending abusive messages via the PM system.

Blooduk has had his membership suspended for 3 days, as other members have complained about his behaviour.

I strongly urge every member to read the Forum Terms and Conditions, and ensure that they follow them.

We do not expect everyone to agree all the time, but we will not tolerate the sort of abusive behaviour / personal attacks that have been posted recently.

If you disagree with a person - remember the golden rule.

Attack the argument - not the person

I wouldn't expect JohnR or TVOR to return - they're too strong willed to sit and take the humiliation of a suspension

It's more a case of what TOC was going to become if we let it go any further.

The pm warnings wasn't working so in future your first warning is a 3 day exclusion, 2nd warning is a 7 day exclusion and your 3rd warning is a total exclusion from the site.

So just think what you are about to post before doing so in future, as Matt said attack the arguement not the person

I have certainly never said that, if you decide you want to take it to pm to decide your difference's then that is fine but don't come crying to me if it goes wrong.

We ban through the service provider and can track any user through their IP number.

But however, a mod did say to certain people to take it into pm, and now its caused this situation etc etc etc. Just wanted to know if there was going to be a united front between the mods and admin on this ;)

they can actually re-register by spoofing there IP, the FBI can trace IP addresses, but it takes 14-21 days, but then you can always use different IP address every time you log on, so you will never know if they have re-registered

Or you can be on dial up, or not have a static IP addy for b/band.........

It was starting to happen before we went away Kimi, but i came back from the ring looked at the posts and went wtf is going on here so here starts the clamp down on all the bickering.

I did post a warning a few month's ago that was taken in by most people but obviously it has been forgotten so out come's the big stick

OK would someone mind telling my WHY THE F**K TVOR is banned?... I have heard nothing said about what he has done and I can personally vouch for the fact he is a very nice guy

As for JohnR and BloodUK.. well things have been seen or said.. but not TVOR.... anyone care to explain?? without being patronising????

Its a sad and sorry day that TOC kicks some members out over the comments of others, warrunted or not... especially when people like TVOR get 7 days... and I have heard nothing of what they have done... and BloodUK who I have heard.. only gets 3.... justice??? is there any???

I joined TOC because I thought the community was a good and friendly one... I was welcomed by loads of people... I joined gold because I was encouraged to... and I wanted to support this place... I made more friends... and all seemed to be going well.. I met up with people... my MSN list swelled by over 30 strong... and it was fun...

Suddenly all there seems to be is bitching and moaning... what changed?? I feel that certain members of TOC and you should know who you are... need to grow up and get it out of your system and not ruin other peoples enjoyment of what was once... and I hope still is a good solid and friendly community...

There should be no need for... nor any place to verbally abuse others on here no matter who was in the right or wrong... I thought we were all adults here... but this seems to prove otherwise...

The suspension's show we want you back but just take time out to think about what you have been doing whilst posting on TOC to get you suspended in the first place
