Sub And Amp?

Hello guys :)

I am looking to improove the bass in my yaris but..

a) I would prefer to keep the back seats fully back and therefore the boot at its smallest size.

B) I want to keep the bass from spilling out of the car.

I do not want a massive amount of bass, just enough to compliment the music I listen too which is mainly rock but the type of music I want the bass for is when I listen to Trance every now and then.

I have an equalizer and rear 6.5 inch Speakers which I would deffinatley like to run off the amp. Aswell as the stock front Speakers I have aswell.

So I am asking:

- What size sub + box will I be able to fit in the boot at its smallest size? As I say I am not after loads of bass so I therefore do not need a massive sub, do I ?

- What specs am I looking for the amp to power the sub and the rear Speakers via the equaliser.

Also eBay seems to be full of good deals at the moment as it seems there are loads of people trying to sell their stuff before christmas. If anyone sees any adequate please give us a shout and does anyone recommend anything to watch out on eBay for specifically sub and amp combinations.

Many Thanks  :group-cuddles:

I do not know if it will work in a Yaris, but a friend of mine put his sub under the drivers seat. It worked and sounded very good. Also you dont need a big one nor need it as loud as if it was in the boot. The only draw back was that the rear seat passanger didnt get much foot room, but it was a small compromise compared with loosing a large chunk of boot space.

Ive just been through all this aswell and after much reading and asking

i went with a JL audio 10W0-4 10" sub

Although they do an 8" and a 6" version aswell which are supposed to give out quite abit of bass for there size

And these all run in small boxes
