Yaris Standard Cd Player Questions

Got my Yaris on Thursday and still playing around with bits and pieces. :group-cuddles:

Tested out the cd player a bit yesterday after browsing the manual but have a couple of questions:

[1] Does it play cdrs and/or mp3?

[2] Is there a pause button? Player stops when I turn the ignition off, but other than somehow stopping the cd completely, the manual doesn't mention any way of pausing a song for whatever reason.

Hi there

My Yaris Blue standard CD player plays CD-R's fine and also plays CD-RW's fine. Doesn't play MP3's as not an MP3 CD player. If you want to play MP3 discs then you will have to buy an aftermarket head unit that has the compatibility.

To my knowledge don't think there is a pause button.

Hi

If you need to pause the CD try turning off with the power button. When you turn it on again you may find it remembers the track and time. Or, if you want to pause to get the radio, try pressing AM-FM button and then CD-TAPE button to resume.

Hope this is of some help.

Yes, that's right. Although there isn't a pause button, switching off with the power off button or changing to radio will cause it to resume at the point it left off when you next press cd button.

Mines the same, and everytime I stop it by pressing am/fm for the radio or turn it off it remembers what it was playing so when I turn it on again it resumes in the same place.
