ok people need opinions here my lowering springs are going back on this week (about time too) and decided while the scuttle panel is off i would fit a trust brace. now as kinky as the TRD one looks its a tad pricey. (but if its the best then i will have to pay it) so was wondering who has what strut brace wise worth fitting? etc.

thanks :help:

i was going to get the TRD one nice piece of kit,but looks

abit boring.

i've got the Cusco polished alloy one, fantastic quality but not cheap.

go take look in my gallery theres a pic of it in there.

Cusco is what the evo/scooby/skyline people tend to use.

I've got the dynasports one - nice blue finish and a doddle to fit ...

- bought mine from alanbradley

Most noticeable handling difference is coming in and out of roundabouts ...

Ok OK,

Let me know, WHY should I get a Strut brace.

Especially since they cost 70-80 quid......

Plus wheres the site for such things.

Yep fitted no problem - about 20mins of cut knuckles worth of spanner action...

Makes the front of the car stiffer ... as mentioned the main difference I find is if I go into a roundabout hard and lift of before pushing out again - no slide and no wobble ...

Passengers have noticed difference also ...

and the downside as I 've said before...if in whatever circumstances you impact one side...the force is also transfered to the other side along the stiff brace, and twists the chasis writing off the car in nearly all cases.

As always there's pro's and con's.

That sound like a good reason for NOT having a strut brace fitted.

But if your in a crash its probably not going to be good anyway. Whether you have a strut brace or not.
