LOL i crashed rolf last night, going into a roundabout at 60mph & not braking untill the give way lines, back end came out, i managed to stop it spinning, but not from hitting the curb, mounting it & carrying on along the grass stoping about 14" away from a massive sign. only ripped chunks out of the offside ally (not the one that hit the curb). very lucky, got 1/2 a field stuck under my yaris, & some how got the inside of the car covered with grass???????? but i wont do it again. :D fkin ABS was no help what so ever! :ffs:

riiight...

But anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should be aware of the fact that come winter, driving like an idiot will end up making you a greasy stain on the public highway... and there is always the potential of taking someone else with you...

Fidgets, I notice the only topics you reply in are to point out the stupidity of a person or to try to stir something?

I'd say take a back seat mate. <_<

I was involved in another car accident!

They turned the corner of the roundabout at about 60mph and lost control, came onto my side of the road and hit me head on - I was doing 40 (it was a 40 zone before anyone tuts at me for speeding - I wasnt!), they were doing 60, so the full force was about 100mph.

Fortunately no one else was around unlike D.A the other night who had someone hit the same speed you were doing.

Glad you are OK.

Now I know why I don’t see many Yaris’, they keep getting broken in one way or another by the owners.

I’m a bit freighted to go out in mine due to all the recent bumps :crybaby:

Is your YTS repairable?

Problem is you can’t help have a ‘bit of fun’ in a YTS... if you get my drift

Tough little beggars these Yaris’, another high speed mishap and you walk away.

Did the ABS kick in at all?

Did the ABS kick in at all?

If the ABS hadn't have kicked in and didn't work, he wouldn't have been able to steer at all, the car would have locked completley under braking and ploughed into the roundabout. Trust me, it happened to my dad who hit some ice about 8 years ago in a non-ABS car, and there was nothing he could do. If you were braking earpl, and you steered, then the ABS has helped immeasurably.

P.S. Muppet!!! :D

Trust me...

Trust me...I trust no one! :D

It wasn’t clear if the ABS had kicked in and if it did kick in, was no use, or it didn’t activate at all.

The thing is when people put up posts about careless driving, there are always

going to be controversial replys that people dont like,

fidgets is entitled to his views.

Glad to hear your not hurt apart from your pride ;)

People have said on here before that its easy to lose the back end of a yaris,

Be carefull out there people esp with the winter on its way
