How Do I Get Hold Of A Manufacturers Plate

I am trying to import a Land Cruiser into France and they won't give it a certificate of conformity without a manufacturers plate with the kerb and axle weights on it. Any body know how I can get the plate and weight information?

Go to local Toyota Dealer,

If that doesn't help go to a Toyota UK dealer next time you are in Britain and explain situation.

Finally If no help there contact Toyota head office in Surrey in this country.

I seem to remember some Toyota 4X4's had this 'plate' info as standard, when at UK dealer it might also be advisable to enquire at parts department and see if one is available (providing parts dept. is a helpful one!)

Yet another option might be to contact one of the many grey import companies that 'break' Toyotas and see if a suitable 'plate' is available that would surfice/'look the part' to get your vehicle through the requirements
