There have been innumerable car unrelated posts on General. Surely that's what its all about. A group of car nuts chatting about un-specialist subjects.

Hmmmmmm 'nonsense' is a little harsh. To be completely fair its no worse than a lot of other posts in here. It is a general forum after all. If I wanna talk about my MR2 I go in there and talk about ONLY that.

If someone told me I should sign up to GOLD to talk about general random topics, I have to be honest, Id probably leave. Not that I would actually ever talk nonsense. Much. Erm...

must admit i always thought general was for general stuff, thought the MR2, Celica, etc was for posting car stuff.

I've not bothered registering on the gold site, as, well,.. its yet another site, happy with this general bit and the MR2 bit.... bummer if we can't talk 'generally' in the general section..
