in my experience, parts like that, for older cars, cost more than newer cars. the bootstruts for my 87 Gt are £120 each  and unfortunatley, you can only get the ABS stuff from Mr T.. PM Shutty at celica club UK, he's service manager at toyota dealers..

dont think i'd like to attempt a rear one .unless they are on a bracket. thats cheap for a rear , mine worked out at 126 + vat and 112 + vat for the rears on my 95 gt. funny how the fronts were cheaper and yours were dearer , yet your rears are cheaper than mine were.

the rears come out the same as the fronts. a lot of pissin about.the bracke bolts to the shocker and a wire goes thru a bracket into the body behint the inside rear trim panel.

hope it works. picking the part up in the morning

the rears on mine were fixed into the axle , not on a bracket , same as the fronts were inside the hub. and have to be drilled out. i hope all this comes good for you fella.

have now changed the front left and rear right abs sensors and dtill the warning lamp is on. have reset the codes. now thinking maybe a wiring fault somewhere. does any one know where the abs ecu lives in a 2wd 5th gen???

What make you believe it's a sensor/wiring fault, rather than a failed ABS pump?

abs codes are fronts 31 32 rears 35 36 did you pump the brake pedal fast 10 times after you replaced the sensor. ? are the sensors aligned correctly, they have to sit plumb opposite the knotches on the drive shaft.have you put the silver pin back in the diagnostics box ( dumb question , had to ask it ) my abs sensor was under the dash around the middle somewhere, pretty low down. ram on the brakes hard if any wheel locks up then thats the side at fault , have faith you'll get there.
