Help Needed

i was wondering how to connect a wire to my cigarette lighter socket positive terminal. any ideas

remove the (dash as in the radio removal how too) on the back of the !Removed! lighter there is a plug (L shaped) now i think the positive is the larger plug but it should be the wire with the white line on it. but i'd check first with a multimeter. because theres a slight doubt in my mind that i remember that the wiring was the wrong way round. damn toyotas. but thats how you get to it any way.
