Sunstrip

i've got a sunstrip that i want to stick on.... it sticks to the inside of the windscreen, just like those tinting films. the only problem is, how can i take off the interior mirror cos it gets in the way. anybody have any idea how to take it off??

i have one of these strips too. a trd one, which goes on inside. ive not fitted mine yet, but i do belive it some how twists and slides of the bracket attached to the windscreen! but i'd get someone to confirm this on here first, think it was knightrider that told me maybe??

Hi guys,

well u just have to pull a bit hard on the base of the mirror. Pull down along the windscreen direction. The mirror with its arm will come out. A square base will remain and u will have to cut yr sunstrip accordingly.

Also, don't try this when yr mirror is hot...I mean when it has been exposed to the sun for a long time. U may break it if it's hot. Well, that was an advice the shop fitting my sunstrip gave me.

twist and slide downwards (at same angles as windscreen) it helps to twist it first rather than just pull it downwards

It's only those TRD strips that would make ur car look a bit better (in my opinion) it sticks on the inside of the windscreen.
