Induction Filter / Decat

i have currently a stainless 304 exhaust (backbox)fitted onto my gen 6 2.0, and after mot time in feb 3rd will replace the rest and also decat, i run a cheap filter lookin exactly like say k and n but would this being a cheap filter not be as good as a quality product. basically should i buy a decent one ??? any views appreciated

Hiya matey :D . There has been a bit of discussion over the air filter/induction kit over the past couple of months. A lot have said that the actul standard box is better than some induction kits if you put a decent filter into it.

The K&N induction kit is pretty cheap but does sound nice!! ,but preformance wise it wont really add to youre BHP.

There are a lot of kits out there ranging from £60ish up to £300-400, So the choice is extensive!

too much heat under the gen 6 bonnet mate unless you cover it and feed it fresh air, personally i'd leave it standard box with k,n panel filter ,,,,,your call . :thumbsup:
