following my accident i had to buy a new car. stil waitin ont eh other guy to admit liability for the accident. Well anyway. its a 1996 renault clio. Standard body. 1.2L engine and by god i hate it....

im only third party fire and theft and until this is sorted my car wont be fixed, and a mate of mine hu works wif em reckons it will be classed as a rite off :-( :-( :-(.......

i cant under stand people who buy a decent car & then dont insure it properly.

ill xplain why. My insurance is third party fire and theft and because of my age in northern ireland (18) it cost me 2700 quid. and i cant get fully comp till im 19

I would have bought an old banger with 12 months MOT, get 12 months no claims then buy a decent car. If I pranged it (like you have on several occasions within 6 months) then I would have lost nothing. After 12 months – bin it, everyone a winner!

I did that when I started driving, plus I couldn’t afford anything nice at the time, ended up keeping it 3 years, and then binned it!

Pity you didn’t do something similar, and kept your money in the bank.

Do you owe anything (finance wise) on the Yaris?

I got fully comp on my Yaris when I was 19!! That was in March of last year...
