When Do I Renew My Road Tax?

My Tax is due sometime soon, but when? The disk says 02/05, but does this mean I have to replace it at the end of this month, or does it mean it runs out at the end of February?

You'd think after 13 years of driving I'd know this one, but in the past I've taken advantage of the grace period so it didn't matter if I paid at the end of the month (ie at the end of Feb), but now that no longer appears to exist (at least from what I can gather) I don't want to risk paying an extra £80 on top of my tax, but I also don't want to lose a months tax.

You need to renew it before midnight on the 28th of FEB. You should get a letter (as you may know). It wont backtax it!!! itll just go for 6 or 12 months from the end of this one depending which tax you buy!!! :thumbsup:

I was hoping you'd say that :D .

I'm not sure if I'll get a letter though since I've moved house a few times since I last paid my tax and currently can't find the log book to update my address.
