Sera & Supercharged Mk1 Mr2

Pulled up to a set of lights in Chester this Friday night just gone, and what do I see in the left hand lane next to me, but a toyota sera and directly infront of it a s/c mk1 mr2!

There was a lady driving the sera and a bloke in the mr2, I think they must have been in convoy as you simply don't see those two cars together by chance.. especially with a baby yaris next to them.

So was it anyone here?

First time i've seen a sera 'in the metal' ... pretty nice.

there's a red supercharged AW11 MR2 in warrington, but thats had a conversion, so unless u knew the car, u wouldn't know

There is a mint one in henley, stock apart from the mk3 alloys and bright red..... shame its been crashed....

Out of interested how did u know it was supercharged? did it have a logo or something on the back?

It was Jap soec anc they have "super charger" down the side, just like my supra from the same eara has "twin turbo"

they made it easy in the good old days

the 'charged one also has a different back panel with a square plate

The square plate is part of being jap spec

A fair few of the Toyos from that age were (MkII supras, and Mk1 mr2s) two tone..

One of the old school aspects I'm not overly keen on..

A stunning MkII has been bought to my attention on eBay...

I'm looking at ways to accomodate it without driving my parents/g/f mad... Its even black!

they think 3 supas is getting greedy HMmm MkII... :D :D
