Yaris Facia Panel (99 Model)

GRRRRR!!!!! ive been to Halfords looking for a toyota yaris facia panel (cause i want to install a cd/mp3 player on it and my yaris came with tape player as standard) and they phoned up some top company for me but they said they never made one. ive seen some yaris's on here that were 99 models or tape models and they managed to find a facia panel to get a cd player installed. is there anywhere that sells them (preferably not internet) where i can look at it before i buy it? im desperate to get a cd player installed this week, its just this damn facia panel holding me back! cheers!

Your local toyota dealer has the facia adaptor, you get double din part for rav 4 from Halfords...check the headunit link at top of page!

erm sorry im really thick! so if i go to Halfords and ask for the RAV4 adaptor theyll give me one? (they have no parts in stock for any toyota car...what a joke).

tomorrow im looking to go to the local toyota garage and get the facia adaptor, does that still mean i need the double din thingy?

im not very knowledgable about the technical side of my yaris lol. what do u suggest i do then? cheers mate.

lol sorry for bothering again... but just to confirm:

whats a phase 1 or phase 2?

the parts i need are a FASCIA SURROUND, a DOUBLE DIN UNIT and a ISO LEAD?

are the fascia surrounds needed for all cd/mp3 player models or just the alpine one shown?

i know im dumb but thanks for your help!

You have a phase one yaris. That's the yaris that was about before the 'facelift' (yaris with 'teardrop' headlights). So yes, you need those parts, unless you are installing in the coin slot. You will need the surround for all players if you are not installing in the coin slot! hope that helps!

nah im not installing it in the coin slot. is there any chance i can get the double din thingy from toyota garage aswell?

Nah, you can't get the double din from toyota. The double din adaptor is made by autoleads if i'm not mistaken! And they don't stock it in Halfords as the yaris one, hence why youhave to get it as the rav 4 one. But it does fit (from what i've understood on here). Don't forget the ISO leads as well! and use one of the many installation guides that are on the forum. Makes the job a lot easier! Any problems with it, there's usually someone who'll know the answer

cheers mate. im gona get the yaris facia adaptor from the toyota garage 2moro mornin and get the RAV 4 double din from Halfords.. after that they said theyll fit it for me free of charge. if not ill just have a bash at it myself. cheers mate. thanks for havin patience with me aswell being as im thick! lol thanks.
