Uk Driving...

First off, sorry if anything mentioned here offends someone...

/rant on

Driving to work this morning, I'm surrounded by idiots who have a driver's license. How on earth they get it is a mystery...

First off: off the roundabout to hitchin I'm passing a truck, and behind me is a silver Celica with a middle-aged hag behind the wheel. As I'm speeding up to about 60-70, she sits on my bumper and is generally driving like a loon. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the celica, but this was typically my-hubby's-a-doctor-and-he-bought-me-a-fancy-car. She eventually passes, and motors off into the distance. In the traffic later, she's one car ahead of me in the queue... and then I think: why bother...

Then, on the roundabout in hitchin, a beemer on the inner lane swerves out to the exit without indicating.

Shortly after, a ford focus takes silly chances overtaking.

Then, a Clio on my bumper.

Does this never end? Do they hand out licenses with sixpacks of beer? Mornings like these make me want to take public transport, and that's no cheery prospect either. Don't want to ding my baby...

:censor: :ffs:

I'm no angel on the road, but this is getting silly. Driving to the garage last night for a pack of !Removed!, I'm surrounded by idiots in escorts and nova's. Stevenage becomes a chav heaven at night, and just looking at them makes me feel sorry... Hunched in the seat, mobile phone at the ear, shoulder cocked and the hand in the middle of the wheel at the top.

Someone slap these idiots, they're not cool, they're *****ing stupid.

Thanks, needed to vent.

kNOW WHAT YA MEAN...........

Certain parts of Herts & Esses are getting quite looney at times.....

I was going onto a roundabout the other day and a Volvo driver was glued to my rear end. If I had slipped a gear or hesitated then I would have had him in my back seat. Needless to say he got the bird......... :ffs:

The only way to drive is to drive like the are all out to get you.

They indicate left? assume they will swerve right... Don't take anything to chance.

Sad but true I'm afraid!!!!

Last night comming home froma day out and about for work I was happily crusing home, taking it easyish as the cars still being run in...

Theres a muppet in a subaru on my left, and a chav in a prelude complete with rasp tastic !Removed! can exhaust on my right.. we are in stop start traffic between roundabouts, I'm just cruising... we start upa hill (not going fast) but due to the hill dispite my low revs the turbo boosts a little and when I let off the chav valve (sorry dump vavle, I gota get rid of that thing) flutters a bit....

This sets off the :censor: tards either side of me and they start going balistic weaving about and driving like mad!!!! Why????? Its !Removed! rushhour traffic!!!

There was also some muppet in an Audi TT, who was trying to race me because I slowly overtook him on the motorway, again, taking it easy, and he started trying to speed up then slow down then speed up and slow down.. as if he has some kind of point to prove, and as if he expects I do to??

I never had the TT down as a boyracers car, maybe a slightly camp dentists car, but not a boyracer...

In the traffic later, she's one car ahead of me in the queue... and then I think: why bother...

Cos she`s achieved her morning aim which is to be 20 feet in front of you

Then, on the roundabout in hitchin, a beemer on the inner lane swerves out to the exit without indicating.

Everybody knows beemers dont have indicators.

Shortly after, a ford focus takes silly chances overtaking.

It`s a Ford thing

Then, a Clio on my bumper.

It`s the only way a clio can make progress.... Slipstreaming

Mornings like these make me want to take public transport,

This`ll be the Labour approach to road transport working then.

You`ve not had a good morning i take it.

Maybe the Clio was being chased by its exhaust componants?

Mmm I may have only been driving for just over a year but I see some hell.

1.) Mmm braking for no reason... and I mean like emergency braking then driving on as if they are looking for something but driving way to fast.

2.) Following people doing 20mph on a single carrage way! (Ahhhhhhhh shoot me now.)

3.) I've just finished turning left into the road, now I will put my indicator on for 2 flashes (Its a bit late for that mate)

4.) Im just going to slow down to a crawl, stop in the middle of the road, and thats called pulling over to let someone out!

5.) Im going to indicate right, no wait, im in the left lane, oppps change it to left, or was it right. (Ends up going right with a left indicator on)

Thats probably a usual week. I get on average 2 to 5 morons per journey, be it 5mins or an hour. If its an hour, I end up having to follow them for most of the journey.

I'll start getting wound up and practising the finger in the mirror soon... almost time to hit the road and dodge the imbeciles again...

when I was young I had the brilliant idea (ag ag modesty) to hang tires all around the car, like on tugboats, and do dodgems to wherever I need to go. The idea got a hammering when I realized that when you straighten up after a corner, the swinging tire would make a lovely round dent in the body panels. Needless to say, mum wouldn't let me test it on her 1400 nissan pickup... (miss those little buggers)
