If its the Yashio factory parts you are after, drb5 has done this and he's got about 115bhp right? Alot of £££ for not alot of power, will sound the nuts though!

Bear in mind he didn't actually fit it, the previous owner did (Nizan) and he is now selling the car... so maybe you could buy it off him, the parts I mean if he breaks it down. Not sure if he will thou.

After his car!bout a million miles away and nizan is after it back!but am still intersted if your reading!i believe the entire exauhst system cost 1300 and i saw the turbocharger kits on here for 1400 so as far as power gain is concerned pound for lb its not the most cost effective mod!but im sure its worth it!

CB

To get serious increases in power you gotta look at supercharging/turbo. Otherwise you're not going to get much really. Unlesss you start uprating the cams and doing various NA polishing like they do for the Rally cars.

What you have got to remeber though is that if you get an increase of 15bhp from your mods thats a 10% increse in power and from a 1.5, it's actually quite a lot.

For example, a friend of mines GTI-6 is 162bhp standard. He's got viper induction and devil de-cat with 4" magnex backbox. It's now probably closer to 172bhp. That's less than 10% and it cost about £600... so the gains you'll get from a Yaris are actually quite good!
