Weird Noise

hey

iv got a 51 plate yaris, and when its windy and im at speed, i get a strange howling noise round the front end, sounding like its underneath.

interested to no if anyone has the same problem?

Some days ago I posted by a similar reason. When I was at 100 mph or faster it sounds a fuc**** rattle as you coment. I think it could be the air flow through ventilation system B)

Yes, I've had that. Not very often but it does get your attention when it happens, doesn't it?

Must be a year since I heard it and car's still in one piece so I wouldn't worry too much.

Iv done 109mph and no whistling noise for me... need to go faster... now where was that airfield... ah yes... from leeds to london. :o

The yaris does suffer with a lot of wind noises which come in through the heater vents and door mirrors. I think they just have a seal problem. I wouldn't worry to much.

yeah i've been in germany with superchargedIS200 and met up with yvvan in belgium

LOL very funny told me to not speed due to police...then flys past me :o

cheers folks, its more of a howling noise and say if i was goin down the motorway an there was a cross wind, thats when it really does it

its only a 1litre little thing aswell wich i forgot to mention
