You will see pigeons of different sizes. The "babies" (or chicks) remain in the nest until they can fly like most birds. Birds need a certain all their feathers and a fair amount of muscle tissue before they can fly. The become "teenagers" before this happens. I have seen dead pigeon chicks that have fallen from nests, but never a live one in the flesh (only on telly).

darkness does not travel. It is the visual representation of the lack of light. Colour is reflection of all light not absorbed by the surface. White is a combination of all colours. White light on a blue surface will only reflect the blue properties of the white light whilst all other colours in the sectrum of the white light will be absorbed. When no light or no colour is present, our eyes see it as black. Black is not a colour. Nor is darkness. Darkness is always there without the presence of light. Light travels in frequency or wavelengths. Therefore darkness has no speed.

It used to get delivered in large plastic bags at my old company. I'm pretty sure it still does.

Early WW fighter pilots did not have ejection systems and the cockpits were not airtight - the reason the also needed oxygen. The helmets were only use to house the headphones in a more sealed environment so they could hear orders and communicate with other pilots. The helmets offered little to no protection of the head. Helmets were sometimes removed on approach to target.

It's the only way needles come packed. Execusioners will throw the needles away after use as they wouldn't want to accidently ubik themselves with the needles after they had been used.

I have!! We had a family of pigeons living in one of the trees at my old house in the countryside. And one day there was a thud from outside the window, went outside to see a teeny tiny pigeon fluff ball which had fallen out of the nest, onto the roof of the house, and then rolled off and dropped to the floor (luckily it didnt get stuck in the gutter!). My dad put some gloves on and managed to put the little thing back into the nest :group-cuddles:

Apols to anyone who works in banking! I just dont get how they can charge you for going overdrawn, making you more overdrawn.... and then send you a letter saying that "they will deal with your debt problems sympathetically and promise to help all they can"
