Problem With Door Open Light On Dash On Constantly

ok, yesterday the door open symbol on my dash has been flashing on and off when all doors and boot are shut. i played around witht he dash a bit and it went off, but later on at 2.30am when i was in bed, it came back on and set my alarm off! only way i can lock my car is to lock it from inside and exit through passenger side.

anyone got any idea's what it can be? its not the switches on eeither of the door, checked out those..

Does the bonnet alarm sensor trigger the dash light?

no, mines loos in the engiine bay, + it doesnt effect the light or setting the alarm.

taken out bonnet sensor ages ago. must be somethin behind the dash, but i dunno what. its a pain!

thrash the *******!!! right check all your fuzes, ones under the bonnet too. then DC the Battery and leave it for a while to reset.

Had this years ago - transpired to be the boot lock in my case. It had gotten a bit of grit in it whilst camping and the grit meant that sometimes it thought that it was shut and sometimes not - give the locks a good clean ...
