whats the easiest wayu to cut 6 by 9 holes in the parcel shelf

can u do it with a knife or do you NEED a jig saw. I have had 6 by 9'd for ages but still havent fitted them as i have next to no d.i.y. tallent and am too cheap 2 pay for them to be done

Although i wouldn't recomend putting 6x9s on a standard parcel shelf

as there to flexable you'll get a better sound on a mdf shelf

drill holes to start off. and jiggly saw away :D

even better go to autoacoustics.com and get a proper stealth shelf

theyll even cut the holes for you, and its solid MDF

This is probably your best bet or you have the more expensive option of having it custom-made which i had to get done to fit my Vibe QB69 (rectangular 6*9s). Proper stealth shelf look. Will post pics of my car and mods soon, got my camera today, just playin about with it at the mo .

drill holes to start with and jigsaw ur way around, easiest way, and ive fitted 6x9s to two yaris parcel shelfs, and theve been fine
