We are all getting an insight into what peoples fav mods are, but has there been a mod which you have done which you later regret, or one which caused particular hassel doing??

I love all my mods but id have to say fitting my lexus lights, having a blonde moment i spliced to wrong wires togeher and blow a few fuses <_< sent the car crazy, not knowing what to do took to MR T which charged me £80 to sort it out, couple £ for the fuses, 60 odd labour :angry:

was fairly amuzing sitting in the show room hearing my alarm going for 15 mins with other work mates shouting at the poor bloke " shut that damn alarm off " :lol:

Think that the effort, skin and general bad temper that resulted from putting the rear parcel shelf in is high up the list.

I do like the results, and it cost very little, but the effort ...

:thumbsup: talking of skin and effort actually, fitting my blue sidelights was a mission, drivers side was fine, passanger on other hand, few layers of skin were removed i can tell you

ok maybe i worded wrong, i wasnt imply you didnt like it, i was thinking more you were doing a mod which u came to dislike due to hassel fitting it

i have been tempted to kick the car at times and get stressed with some mods, but doesnt mean i dont like them

i had neons too! thought they would look great (and the did :wacko: )

but thought folks would laugh at me :lol:

although i am a believe that if doen right it looks great!

and they did help me when i crashed it down a dark back road! switched them on and illuminated all the lower half of the car!

my 17's were the worst! seemed ok for 6 months until i put my winter 15's on! Wow it was so much better with them on! cant believe i went for 17's in the first place!

yea, i noticed a fiar difference from my 15s, to my 16s, i drove my mates 206s with 17s on, wolfarce octane's, stearing was so heavy compared to mine

Thats not cos of wheels (some is) but its also cause its french crap

them white heater dials look to in your face and are falling off, crap quality glue wud look alrite in owt but a TS as its so dark they stand out too much for my liking!

Shouldn't that be "Not a mod on my car (full stop)"?? Apart from the obvious necessary bass gain of course. Mum asks me why i feel the need to take up half my boot with a sub etc. I told her that its not just about driving round like a chav attracting attention to myself but that you are missing a whole range of sound without bass...

Parents rarely grasp that concept, though i think my mum and dad have secretly been taking my car and cranking up the radio!

My worst mod, back to the point, was more of a bad purchase than a mod... and i'll never ever EVER buy a vauxhall again!!!!!!!!!!!
