Had An Accident :(

Pulling on to my street i saw a small rubber weight in the road, before i could do anything about it i heard two scraping noises and feared the worst. The council had left a barrier holder in the road after doing some road repairs, Went to main dealer the day after and upon looking under my car the guy diagnosed that i needed a new CAT! parts price of £629.50. since then ive had another guy look at it and he said the cat is fine just the outer casing is damaged, which he repaired on the spot. Just goes to show that main dealer are sometimes money grabbing gits! (for use of a tamer word)

At least you have it sorted YarisAsh - have you complained to the council? It was their fault in the first place!

My dad ran over a metal sign base that had beenleft in the road and got a puncture - he sent the receipt for the new tyre (it was near the rim) and the council coughed up ... worth a try mate.
