Last night was good for some including myself

a taster of what is to come for most if not all

All forecasters on tv this morning mentioned a possibility

of upto 10cm or more right down the eastern side from later today

and wednesday then a further 10+ possible for se and ea on thursday

Here is an ADVANCED WARNING of Heavy Snow affecting Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales.

Issued by the Met Office at 09:38 on Tuesday, 22 February 2005.

The Met Office is forecasting that the current cold spell will continue, with further spells of snow at times. Potential remains for disruption to transport resulting from snow and ice in any area, but mostly in the east and later in the south.

Today, Tuesday, snow showers will generally be more widespread across England and Wales. Persistent snow showers across extreme south-east England may give 3-7cm there. Heavy showers will also affect the north and east of Scotland, spreading to north-east England overnight, giving accumulations of 5-10cm in places.

During Wednesday snow showers will continue to affect many areas, especially north-east England, south-east Scotland and south-east England, where a further 5cm or more is possible, though amounts small elsewhere.

On Thursday an area of more persistent snow will spread from the east across many areas. Amounts of snow, and northern and western extent are uncertain, but this area of snow presents the greatest risk of disruption through the period, particularly for south-east Britain.

Not saying I don’t like it and like I said no offence to anyone but its nothing I can’t read on the weather sites or hear on the news or see on the tv. I’m just fed up with the fascination in the weather. By the way its sunny here but really cold

See I’m getting addicted now :D

:( well I'm in the South East and we've had snow here last night, and as I was driving home from work half an hour ago the T3 was saying it was 1 degree and the snow was coming down again..not settling as it's too wet on the ground but the parked cars outside are beginning to have a little bit of a covering now.

*is glad she has a day off tomorrow and doesnt have to work*

Not here it isn't. :crybaby:

You'd think I was in a totally different part of the World.

Bit of frost on the cars and that's yer lot.

Pity. Could've done with a day off work.

Mind, you... I work in Anfield so snow there would work just as well.
