first of all id like to say thankyou for welcoming into the TOC so warmly ive only been a member since the 23rd of feb 05 and ive already signed up for gold as im very impressed with the TOC and the level of expertise on here.

I have a MR2 turbo that has had some serious work on the engine to give more power at the moment its over 300 FW bhp and have shown it at shows many times.

Now ive decided to get my spanners out on my Hilux Surf as im wanting to show it at the JAE 2005 so ive got about 4 months to do it and a limited budget.

I will not be touching the engine for insurance reasons and really i wouldnt really notice any power gain out of a 2.5 ton diesel so not really any point

so far the car has large chrome full bull bars, 15" chrome super strong off road wheels, A/C, hard/soft ajustable shocks, chrome running boards, chrome mirrors, chrome door handles,

so far i have got myself for it.

Kenwood flip front CD/radio

1x 12" sub

2x 8" subs

2x 6x9 mid range

2x tweeters

2x 600w amps

Set of red neons to shine onto the running boards when the door opens

2x blue 2ft led tubes

2x black light 2ft tubes

rear windows tinted

6x 55w spot lights

GPS sat nav

Alarm system (nothing like closing the gate after the horse has bolted)

I will be building my own sub boxes.

But can anyone think of anything else i can do to the vehicle which will not break the bank and would suit the type of vehicle it is?

Many thanks

Steve

I'm not sure how much it will cost, but you could 'raise' it a touch, just to give a little more of a monster truck stance?

Although you havent mentioned it, i'll bet you have the chrome roll-over bar..

Shame its a diesel really, I'd love a Monster Hilux with a nice V8 rumble..

I'm looking forward to seeing this :)

As Fidgits said, the chrome roll-over bar, maybe some fogs, post a pic on here and maybe we can do a bit of photoshop work

Are you sure you don;t mean RW BHP! ;)

I'd love to do up a Hi-lux,

I think a surf would still look cool jacked! I have sure as hell never seen one!!!

Here some pics of another one (non surf) courtesy of Teamshock.

I did look into jacking mu surf up but its very expensive to do and i do have to use it for work ect ect but i do like that jacked up pick up just really would'nt be that practical for me (god im must be getting old im starting to think practiacally soon i'll have a tweed jacket and flat cap noooooooo)

But i take it a lot of you will be at the JAE?

as for the MR2 it has 289 rear wheel bhp and 317 bhp at the flywheel worked out from a loss of 10% through the transmission(i just no im gonna get corrected now :) )
