Motorola V3

Looking at changing my phone.

Have sorta decided on the Motorola V3

Has what I need - phone, bluetooth and GPRS. And a real plus is its very slimline, will fit nicely in a suit jacket.

Just a touch concerned about whether I'll have any problems with using this with my Sony Ericcson bluetooth gear.

I have the SE car kit, and an SE headset (HBH-60 and HBH-30 I think they are).

Is it as straightforward as bluetooth is bluetooth - doesn't matter who manaufactures the kit, its all standards compliant?

Or would I have any problems?

Anyone usng this combo?

I allways thought Bluetooth was Bluetooth kind of thing..?

yeah - its a "standard".

but I'm in IT - and realise that sometimes "standards compliant" is an oxymoron!:lol:

dont wanna get the phone, and find it doesn't work properly with my existing gear.

Get it mate.

I've had the V3 since october last year and there has been no issues and the bluetooth works fine with my nokia headset.

Great phone, so slim its fantastic for when you go out as no bulges!!

Should work fne fella!!!!

As far as bluetooth and compatability goes most things work fine, the only slight pain in the **** being Ericsons "magic word" interfereing with voice dialing in some cases!

Our head of technologies tests phone on the side (offcial nokia tester!) and he gets sent phones all the time... Hes had his V3 for ages now (got sent one pre release) and he says after living with it its the best phone hes ever had!

I don't usually like fold phones, I don;t usually like the mootorolla menus, but I like the V3, its smart!

Anyone seen that weird new nokia with no keypad??? looks interesting
