Ive just been reading some posts and i see the word chav come up a few times and to be honest i hav'nt got a clue what one is.

Could anyone explain?

'chav' (slang) - a young person, often without a high level of education, who follows a particular fashion; Chavs usually wear designer labels including the chav favourite 'Burberry', and if they’re girls, very short skirts, large hoop earrings and stilettos.

Although I agree, you do get a lot of chavettes with their chav boyfriends in there.

Quite ironic really because b and q is just across the road, i think the chavs go in there to get bits of bathtub, come out, find this wonderful thing called araldite and stick the bits of bathtub to their cars.

What is the point in having a noisy racy sounding car with a 1.0L engine though? It serves no purpose, it is pretending to be something that it isn't.

By day it's a retail park carpark, by night its a chav paradise - Me and chriscanavan once saw a los of Chavs surfing behind a corsa or somthing of similar nature (They had ripped the sign down off the front of Comet and were attepmting to ride it while holding the bumper of a moving vehicle)

Every other word is a profanity, easily audible above all voices - especially in the cinema when some chavs have met some random chavettes outside and sat with them...

"Eee are, 'ow oldz ya mate? Chantelle well fancies him"

And then they proceed to commit lewd acts on the back row - Ask Mr Canavan - We were there!

iv just recieved the most funny abuse this morning from my lil cousin... she called me a chav

i then ask her, 'how am i a !Removed! chav?'

she then replied, 'i dont know..., err... u like to modify cars'

i just laughed, ha, bless her, shes in yr7!
