tesco insurance! great for the first year, really cheep!. only because they pile it on the 2nd year. my dads went up buy £178!!! :o

My insurance with Tesco's droped each year. I have been with them for 5 years. But Elephant still come in loads cheaper

Tescos wanted my GTi to have a 'Cat 1' Alarm/imobaliser fitted by an approved specialist before they would insure it!

...I pointed out the car was over 12 years old and surely having this item fitted would apply to newer cars plus there was cost of fitting!

So I went to NIG (and had agreed value). :D

Have used elephant for my other Corolla and they were fine about modifications.

Tesco upped my policy by about £300 this renewal - all because of Mr Eejit and his stolen car!

Which reminds me - must call them tonight to cancel policy otherwise they'll renew it tomorrow.....
