I have had...

2000 W reg Daewoo Matiz, which I sold to a guy in Nuneaton after it was forced off the road (and repaired by the insurance!)

2004 53 reg Toyota Yaris (Karis) which was written off in November thanks to Mr Eejit

and my current car

2004 54 reg Toyota Yaris (Kaori) which is still alive and kicking!:lol: (But for how long - who knows! lol)

First car was a N reg MK1 K11 Micra. Got written off after a TVR went into the back at high speed.

Second was a P reg MK2 K11 Micra in gold. You couldnt lose it in a car park. I really liked that little car. Complete with DAB radio which never really worked (probably as I fitted it).

Third was a new 53 Reg Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique. Got rid of it because of the poor build quality. In 6 months the car must off been at the dealer about 11 or more times. It only took the dealer 4 or 5 visits to the dealer to find a fault with the steering. If it could go wrong it went wrong on that car.

Forth is my Yaris. Which so far I kind of like.

Escort.jpg

1983 Escort I bought when I was 18.

Xr2.jpg

1987 XR2, bought in 1990 ...OH NO :!Removed!: I hear you say! ...Ha, Ha ...I really liked this car, very nippy, went all over Europe in it. Picture was taken in Austria by Yugoslav boarder (when Yugoslav War was on :o ). Sold it in 1993 (it's still running today. Girl who bought it has a boyfriend who runs local Capri Club and so being a Ford is happy to keep it in 'tip top' condition.)and replaced with my Corolla GTi.

Have more but don't want to bore people to much :!Removed!:

Let the good times roll

Humber Sceptre  My friends between them have A '58 Hawk, '60 Snipe and '46 Hawk; the '46 is actually a pre war design.

Go to many car shows in the Snipe.

Humbers are good strong solid cars (manufacturers drone on about crash testing etc., no need to worry with a Humber ...nothing gets in the way  )

Rotten chassis on a Golf? surely not.

Minis are my favourite cars in all honesty. They handle like no other FWD car, they beat the integra, which is in a league of its own really...

As you can see from the Minis i've owned I'm likely to have had lots of issues along the way, well I cant afford to run minis anymore, they consume too much money and effort for my liking, especially in the colder months, and I've no garage to stop the tinworm getting in there.

I'll have another mini one day, when I can really afford it. :D Probably go for MG Metro turbo power too.

It's nice to see another member who is into classics, and not just toyotas at that. I've had my fair share now, classic fords, minis, etc, the beauty of the rolla is it wont let me down so easily ;) .

Got pics of my cars, but not here at work :(
