Ok, i have to put my hands up and say i know nothing when it comes to car engines!! I've bought a new performance chip thing that needs to be connected to the inlet air temp sensor but i have no clue where it is on the engine.

Could someone please help - maybe by photo if possible as my knowledge is that bad.

Thank you in advance!

Sean

P.S. I got my car on 6th march so i am now a proud new owner of a toyota and i think its a great little car.

If you look at the pipe from the air filter to the inlet manifold i would have thought it would be there if you still cant find it email me a close up pic of your engine and i'll edit it with a arrow pointing to it

That is if i can find it on the pic

But as ive said above it should be in pipe between the air filter and inlet manifold

is that just a resistor from eBay? If so it just tricks the car into thinking its cold all the time - it will do more harm than good

If it is the resistor mod as Sotal says dont even bother as all it does it over fuel the engine and can cause bore wash and shorten the engines life.
