No,No,No,No,No.

Steer well clear of this scam (just look at his other items on e-bay. All the same"Chip/Resistors" and some of them for sale at £4.99)

They actually cost pennies at Maplins and definately make absolutely no difference to performance.

Dont you just hate it when people scam on E-bay?

and definately make absolutely no difference to performance.

Not quite right there. They do make a difference, just not a positive one. They trick the ECU into thinking that the engine is colder than it is, and subsequently the car runs on Half Choke. If the fuel mix is too rich then you use more petrol and the unburned fuel clogs the cat up, ultimately requiring a replacement catalytic convertor. Car companies spend billions on electronics and engine interfaces. I think they might have added this to the cars as standard if it was an improvement.

Utter bo**ocks! All it does, like Boro said is trick the engine into thinking that it needs more fuel.... so it burns more, giving more power. But after a year of being permantly like this you'll have spent waaay more on fuel and all your internals, cat, manifold etc will be clogged with excess fuel and waste gases. Therefore, your engine will be f**ked!
