installed it on my pc today and i am very impressed.

will be installing it on the other networked pcs in the house that will just run the media edition front end so they can access all the music/videos/pics from the file server.

can record tv and radio as well.

will be makinga dedicated media edition pcs to go under the tv in the front room (built in a dvd player style case) so i wont have to switch between the tv and pc again :)

just need the media edition remote control now

Been using it a while now and find it excellent. Have my NTL running through so I can record, pause etc but without the running cost of sky+ and just as easy to use.

I have a HP pavilion media centre pc so have the remote etc with that.

Nope, I'm a diehard Mac user.

I do have an HP iPaq that runs Windows CE 4.2 though, so I'm not completely close minded. Though the second Apple comes out with a PDA again, this thing is going to become a $400 paperweight. LOL

If you're running Windows, I advise you to get Sophos or Norton Anti Virus ASAP, if you don't have it already and get at least two anti-spyware apps (Windows anti spyware doesn't count) I recommend Spy Sweeper and Ad-Aware.

I have to say I am grateful to Bill Gates for making such a kludgy and bug-ridden OS. It creates jobs for technicians like me! God forbid the world every goes to Apple, we'd all be out of work!

They do, you're right. I exaggerate.

They've far fewer problems though, in my experience, and the problems are generally easy to fix.

No real viruses or spyware exploits. You have to love that.

I was going to use it myself, but it did not have a oncreen keyboard, so I move to the tablet ed instead.
