Yeah, when I went to Phili a cpl of years back, I went into one of those Verizon outlets, and asked about the price of one of their phones off-line, to buy outright. I asked if I brought it back to England, would it work if I put a UK sim in it, but the sales guy said the phones don't use sim's, so there wasn't anyway I could use it!?!? I was a bit confused at the time when he said that.

just go to the site I posted at the beginning and you can unlock your phone for free. Nobody will give a monkeys and you can then use whatever sim you want!
