To me that says you are saying phones don't have an O/S, but PDA's do, which is not true, seeing as some phones share the same OS as PDA's.

Surely a Virus is targeted at specific OS [Windows/Linux]. So a Nokia differes to Sony Ericsson?

So if your saying that 'phones' do infact have an OS, how can they not be prone to viruses?..

Yes a nokia differs from a Sony, they use a different O/S.

Where did I say they aren't prone to viruses? Just this particular case is a hoax.

I know for a fact there are viruses for mobile phone O/S's, you can install McAfee on my mobile phone!

There have been several viruses aimed at the PDA phones. But thats the old Windows CE stylie OS.
